ABOUT ONE PERCENT REALTY

Commissions in our industry are based on the Sale price and at One Percent Realty Ltd our minimum commission is $7000, which covers any sales up to $700,000. If your property should sell for over $700,000, then it goes to a flat 1% commission on the actual sale price. This commission is split 50/50 between the "Listing Broker" and the "Selling Broker" (the buyer's Realtor).

So for example if your 'home' should sell for $800,000 then the commission would be $7,000 ($4000 to each broker). There is GST added as per government regulations. Our commission fees are a lot less but we are still a 'FULL SERVICE' Brokerage.

As the commission is low we charge a disbursement fee, to cover our expenses. My fee is $950 + GST which includes: mls fees, title search, strata plan, Form B, signage which brings in local traffic, open houses, print advertising in REW as well as online prescence on REW and a One Percent Realty administrative fee. No matter the sale price the disbursement fee stays the same at $950, as the expenses don't change just because the property is worth more.

ALL One Percent Listings are on mls.ca and realtylink.org plus I advertise in the Real Estate Weekly (REW) Westside newspaper and have a prominent online presence on REW online. It will be listed on www.onepercentrealty.com, which has an auto email of new listings to all clients who have signed up for it. It will be on my personal site www.laileywallace.ca , www.rew.ca and as I am on MLS 'reciprocity' it will also show up on thousands of the "other" Realtors/Brokerage websites, who transcribe to MLS listings on their sites!
